Healthy 21 Approved Mild Salsa Recipe

Cook time: 5 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1, 28 oz can of whole tomatoes 
  • 1 whole onion, halved
  • 1/2 cup of cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp of cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse 10 times, or until desired consistency is reached

Tip: Perfect to use as a marinade for fish or chicken!
